Around the time of launch of the newest Pokémon entry, Sword and Shield (SwSh), is when I was seeing tweets and articles of trainers encountering shiny Pokémon. It’s quite a feat beating the odds to catch a shiny plus adding in an extra layer of rarity colloquially known as shiny squares type.
